Pay is bargained district by district, and this guide comes from the salary appendix of the agreement the district filed with the New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission.

Longevity is paid above the guide and is not part of the table: 100 at 18-20 years in education, 200 at 21-25, 300 at 26-30, 400 at 31-35, 500 at 36-40 and 600 at 41 or more; for employees hired on or after July 1, 2016 longevity accrues only on years worked in the Hackettstown district.
