The schedule starts at Step 3, which is the placement step for a teacher with no prior experience credit. Experience-credit placement runs 0 years at Step 3, 1 year at Step 4, 2-3 years at Step 5, 4-5 years at Step 6, then one year of credit per step.

A signed memorandum of understanding dated 2/22/2024 raised this 2024-25 schedule by a further 1%, to a 5% COLA over 2023-24, extended the agreement through 6/30/2026, and set the 2025-26 schedule 5% above the revised 2024-25 schedule. The district has not published a revised grid for either year, so the cells above are the appendix as printed and are about 1% below the 2024-25 amounts actually payable.

Not included in the grid: special education teachers receive a stipend equal to 9.65% of Step BA3 and dual immersion teachers 6.20% of Step BA3. Employees pay the 6% employee contribution to PERS required by ORS 238A.
