Appendix A of the negotiated agreement between the district and the Brandon Valley Education Association, published as the 2026-27 Certified Hiring Schedule. This is the schedule all new teachers are hired on and the schedule teachers advance on by step and lane.

Each printed cell shows two figures, for example $55,615 (56,615). The value recorded here is the first figure, the schedule salary. The parenthetical figure adds a $1,000 salary enhancement.

Prior service credit from outside the district is allowed up to 10 years, and a teacher earns a step when they complete 120 or more days of service in a school year or 60 days in each of two semesters.

A lane change (BA+15, MA, MA+15, MA+30) is paid at $1,200, or $600 for a half-year lane change requested by January 1. Lane advancement requires graduate credit from an accredited university filed by September 1.

The same appendix publishes separate Extra-Curricular and School Psychologist hiring schedules, and Title I tutors are hired at 86 percent or 74 percent of this teacher schedule. None of those are recorded here.
